It's a day filled with hope, compassion, and love as we embark on our monthly mission: Food Distribution. Picture this – a group of dedicated individuals, each with a heart full of empathy, gathers at the bustling intersection of ABCD Road. The sun is beginning to rise, casting a warm glow over our volunteers, who are eager to make a difference.

This endeavor is the heartfelt creation of the Vayovrudha Charitable Trust, a beacon of hope for elderly orphaned generations. Established in 2007, this trust has dedicated itself to enriching the lives of senior citizens who often find themselves neglected and alone in their twilight years. Founded on the principles of compassion, respect, and social responsibility, their vision is to ensure that every senior citizen lives a dignified and fulfilled life. As the clock strikes 10:00 AM, we begin our sacred ritual. We distribute not just food but also sustenance for the soul. 5 kilograms of rice, 1 kilogram of toor dal, half a kilogram of cooking oil, and a quarter kilogram of tamarind – these are not just ingredients; they are ingredients of hope. These provisions are more than just food; they are a lifeline for the elderly residents of our community.

We cordially invite you to join us on the third Sunday of every month for our special event at the vicinity of Vijay Nursing College, Shri Thatti Arjuna Rao Garu at Rokallapalem, Vijayawada. During this event, we distribute essential provisions to vulnerable elderly individuals.

Every Sunday, we conduct a free medical camp to address the health needs of the elderly. Specialist doctors generously volunteer their time to provide medical check-ups and consultations, ensuring that our elderly community receives the necessary healthcare support.

Honorary Awards

Each year, on the "International Day of Older Persons" celebrated on October 1st, we honor elderly individuals who have reached the remarkable milestone of 100 years of age. About 20 centenarians from the districts of Krishna, Guntur, and West Godavari are identified and presented with prestigious awards in a dignified ceremony.

In the unfortunate event of the passing of our trust beneficiaries, we extend our respect and provide financial assistance of Rs. 2000/- on behalf of the trust to help cover funeral expenses, ensuring they are treated with dignity even in their last journey.

In addition to our services for the elderly, we are planning to initiate other social service activities with the support of donors. Our future plans include establishing a library with traditional and cultural books, collecting reusable books and benches, and distributing conditional used clothing to those in need.
